I may or may not have accidentally kidnapped a tiny duckling today. I was taking pictures at the park and then I got home and, whoops, it was in my camera bag. And by 'whoops' I mean I actually had no idea, not like "oh gee, how did that happen? Tee hee!" I guess it wandered in and I didn't notice?
...Also, for the record, I think Simon thinks it's going to eat his soul or something. Every time it moves, he looks like he's trying not to freak out. It's kind of adorable.

Somehow this place isn't exactly how I pictured Hell.
So, what are the rules about vampires occupying places at the Complex? Because I just got here a couple days ago and I was told that one could stay there free of charge. Thing is, someone I care about very much is a vampire and also needs a place to stay. Is she welcome, too? We could share a place if that's not a problem for anyone.
Sorry for the mess on the 3rd floor, spent most of yesterday and good part of today in unplanned scooter repair. Now its onto seeing if my VR goggles will actually work or to make more adjustments.

It's been a while since I've done one of these and we have some new people, so...hey. I'm Jo Harvelle-Shurley. I own the Roadhouse at [address]. It's more of a saloon and a popular place for out of town hunters, but all you displaced folks drink and eat for free there. I teach gun and knife classes with Booth, Sarah Conner, and some others out at a range at [location], and I'm a native of this world as well as a hunter like the Winchesters, so if they're not available, you can also come to me with any questions about monsters and so forth from this world.
Okay so since Mystic Falls seems to have basically fallen on Lawrence, and I know we're not the only ones. I think its about time we have a bit of a vamp pow-wow.
For the record and all, I'm Lexi Branson late of the Mystic Falls reality, been here for a couple years now and owner of officially the most kickass bar that ever did ass kick. Fiancee to Lee, BFF to Stefan Salvatore and have been referred to more than once as the Bloodaholics Anonymous mascot.
We have a treaty with the people here, in that we're safe, we're Anti Apocalypse and we don't kill for food. I'm not gonna say I'm a saint that'll never feed from the vein but I don't kill. I don't hurt for the hell of it.
But I'm also far from the oldest of us here and if we're gonna be bound to this, we all have to be bound to this.
Can we make it official? Make some ground rules?

Right then, since we've got quite a few new people there are classes posted up in the complex lobby. Jo mentioned there's the gun and knife class [location!] But there are also a few others including a Hunters Camp Bobby runs every so often when he's able. And no, not the animal sort. Anyone interested in becomming a hunter ought to look into the classes we offer in the mean time though. At the very least you should probably learn some self defense.
