So I thought this might be a slightly less taxing way on Marius for all of us to talk. Because Marius, Cosette, I know the two of you must have plenty of questions. Eponine and I have both been here for quite a while and we may be able to help answer them. There's a lot to take in, we both know it because we've both lived it. And we got through it together and really, that's the best way to approach things here. Together, with people you can trust.

I suppose the best way is to start by explaining a couple of major things.

Cosette, we haven't even properly met. My name is Enjolras. I'm a student at the University and for the last few months of your life back home, I've been leading the efforts in the revolution against the Crown. I've known Marius a few years now. Eponine should be the one to explain who she is to you, though

You've both been brought into the middle of the Apocalypse of this world. Why? No one knows. To help fight in whatever way we can. Some of us take the physical fights, some the more background roles. Helping out with shelter or food or medicine when needed. But everyone here has been able to find a place where they belong and you both will as well.

It is, in fact, the 21st century and while I know that's confusing, it is adjustable. Just the same, I might recommend you both take up residence in Eponine's Inn for a time. She has it set to resemble something from home, from our generation, and it might make the adjustments a bit easier. I'd also suggest you take at least the self-defense classes, if not the more combative ones as well.

Now. Any questions? Discussions? Can I just go bury my issues in a glass of whiskey and my girlfriend's arms now, please?

I just realized that I've totally been forgetting about school since I've been here. Should I even bother finishing my senior year at this point?
