War Is Coming Communications.

Looks like I've got a bauble thing too and it's loud. I just got home from a loud airport. I think shoving it in a closet is a good way to go for now. I don't know what to wish for anyway. I'd wish for my son, but looking back on the comms I see that doesn't work. So..I don't know.

I've been very productive before noon today: I got a pet and used my bauble-wish.

This is my new dog! I know that isn't the best picture but she's nice to me she just doesn't trust cameras. Or most things really. She was recovered from a dog fighting ring about a week ago and they weren't sure what to do with her, she kept trying to gnaw her way through metal cages and attack the volunteers when they came in to feed her. They didn't want to let me take her home so I did have to use the Force to 'persuade' them but, well, I couldn't exactly say "No, I'll be able to handle her fine, I have a semi-psychic/empathic Force bond with animals so I can tell she's just freaked out and angry, I mean, wouldn't you be? So just don't worry, it's a Jedi thing," without getting sent off somewhere myself. I used my wish to heal her injuries, she had a limp in her left hind leg, a lot of bites, and she was missing her right eye. She's fine now though, physically, and taking a nap on my feet while I type this. I will never have to wear socks again!

The only thing is that while she was won over to me pretty quickly she's still insecure and now seems sure that someone is going to come and kill me and end her supply of bacon flavored treats and rawhides forever. So if I'm walking her and you want to get close enough to talk just keep in mind that I now own the world's most over-protective dog? I won't let her hurt anyone and I think once she calms down and realizes she's safe here she might even be friendly but until then I think she's going to have to accept people on an individual basis. For now she's at least getting used to the camera. See?

Also, she has no name yet. Suggestions?

Do you guys want to meet her? Maybe in a couple days? I want her to get used to the people I hang out with sooner rather than later. And we're going to hang out right? That's a good assumption? She's really nice after a couple minutes of being wary, I promise.

That wish was certainly useful.

I think I might try forming a new Nightstalker vampire hunting team if anyone's interested.

ETA: By vampires, I mean the no good, dirty rotten evil vampires. Not the friendly kind.
