For all you fresh meat out there: I'm Xander and I'm the guy who's gonna be teaching you how to use all those fun shooty things. They come in handy when those pesky baddies decide to swing into the city and try to possess you/eat your brains/make you spontaneously combust from happiness. Although! I'm gonna go ahead and point out that we're not allowed to shoot anything but rock salt at those black-eyed demons. Someone out there would probably kick my ass for not telling you all, so that bit of info is definitely going out there right now. I won't let you in my class if you plan on shooting demons with regular ol' bullets. That's not how I roll.

I'm pretty sure Adam was killed by ghouls. Here's what I've got to back that theory up:

• Adam just told me that he was eaten when he died. When I asked for further detail, he specified that he could remember his attacker drinking his blood. Ghouls are known for blood consumption. They usually feed off of remains, but if they were that blood-thirsty or had some kind of motive for going after Adam in the first place, I'm willing to bet that they didn't really care too much about the temperature of what they were drinking.

• Adam's family has yet to be noted as missing. Not in the media, nor in any police reports. Kinda strange, isn't it? You would think that a massacre as big as that, with two people being eaten alive and everything, would end up making one hell of a fuss. But we've heard nothing on it whatsoever. Wanna know why? Because ghouls, like shapeshifters, can turn into whoever they want. Who wants to bet that someone is real fond of Adam's face right about now?

I wanna get out there and take care of this as soon as possible. Dad? Dean? You up for a hunt?
