I am curious, would anyone want to participate in a ride-along? Anyone that has aspirations about a career on the force, or if you're just curious about police work and how it is done on the beat. It's simple. After signing a form.. someone rides as my passenger in the car. They see how we do things, answering calls on the CB comm, driving around as a patrol, taking care of warrants, arrests, etc. There's rules though, such as not getting in involved and just watching from the seat. Who knows, might learn something. Or maybe even take an interest in it as a career if they wish to do that eventually

Glad the heater is better now. Though I hope we keep the pool. I think that was my favorite part. Got some good exercise. Swimming was one of my fave things back home Those who arranged that are very cool in my book. If it does stay, maybe residents can host games there or something. Shouldn't be too hard to put up a little volleyball net if they wanted, maybe even set up teams for weekend matches.

Wow, I'm never gonna try and gulp down a whole two liter bottle of cherry coke with a side of gummi worms before bed ever again. Weird dreams happen. Very weird. Like in this one I had? I was part of the Justice League (I was the X-Man) and my cape got all wrapped up in this spinny vortex of doom as I was flying to Columbia to save this sad little Mexican woman wearing a sombrero.

Admittedly, I was only in it for the sombrero. Mucho sexy, si?

I would like to find some work, but am not certain what I might qualify for. My experience lies in managing an estate which I assume has changed over the last eight hundred years *laughs* and fighting-- humans, not demons, although I'd be interested to learn any techniques against the latter. I'm quite skilled in archery and swordfighting. But I'm willing to take on something new, as well. Does anyone know of an available position?

I've inquired at the local hospital about openings on their Emergency staff. The only caviat is that currently I'm without both my degree, my credentials or a single person who can vouch for my certification. And I am not certified in the State of Kansas, just in London. Working for the organization I did I have certification in New York State, but again, I have no proof...

I believe this is what is known as a Catch 22?
