The rest of the walk, Lindsey remained uncharacteristically silent. No questions, no sarcastic remarks, just following a few steps behind Star, arms crossed over his chest. It was harder to focus on their surroundings, make sure nothing was coming out of the dark with intent to harm. Maybe it wasn't his world but he still didn't trust shadows.
When they reached the building, he glanced up at the place, waiting for her to sign in or whatever it was she was doing. He'd expected the place to be secured. He just wondered how secure it really was. No doubt mystical enchantments as well as technological.
He leaned against the wall near the office door, closing his eyes for the moment as they waited.
