Re: Kara's arrival
Clark was one of the first people to arrive. He figured that even though he and Kara weren't on the best of terms right now, she'd probably want him to be there. Maybe. Hopefully? He didn't know. Things were strange between them lately. They hadn't really talked much about their disagreement before and Clark was beginning to think that they never would. It might have been for the best if it kept them on decent terms with one another. Because, honestly, he didn't know if he could agree with her. They had their different opinions on Krypton. They were always going to.
All the same, he wanted to be here for her. It was her birthday and he wanted to celebrate with her. So Clark moved around the kitchen, helping Andrea out with whatever needed to be organized and sorted for the party. He was kind of excited for Kara. She deserved some fun.
Bringing more paper cups out to the front counter, Clark turned and shot Andrea an amused sort of look. It was kind of funny, having her organize all of this. "I think we ought to be thanking you, don't you think? Everything looks great."
