Who: Jace and Open(though probably Clary)
What: Jace's Arrival
When: Sunday night
Where: Electronics store.

Jace didn't know what to believe. Had he been pulled through some sort of portal into this place, and if that were the case, why didn't he remember going through it. He had just appeared here. The last thing he remembered was leaving Clary in bed asleep and leaving her the letter and the ring explaining what he was about to do. He needed to go after Valentine. He needed to go after Sebastian. The only problem was, as soon as he was in sight of Sebastian, to follow him as he went to Valentine, he found himself standing in the middle of an electronics store.

How did he end up in the Mundane world again so quickly when he had just been in Idris? He needed to figure out how he had gotten there, and he needed to get back. He needed to stop Valentine, to save Clary. He was standing there in full shadowhunter gear with his stele in one pocket and a variety of seraph blade in all the others.

She'd been laying in bed with her laptop on her stomach, rather bored and surfing the internet when she had first noticed the comment on the message system. Clary had practically flew off her bed to go find him. It took her a few seconds to realize she had to calm down and actually find out where he was first. She wasn't psychic. After nailing down the location, Clary threw on some jeans and a t-shirt. Her hair, as always, was out of control and pulled down in braids. She grabbed her bag, her seraph blades, cell phone and then stele.

Some freaky hell god was on the loose, and she was about to portal herself to a mall she'd been to once. Rolling up her sleeve, she quickly drew the rune that allowed her to glamor herself to invisibility, only those who could see through glamor would spot her.

A few minutes later she had opened a portal on the outside of the apartment building, and was thrown out onto the floor of the mall a few minutes later. Standing up, she quickly noted she was in a back hallway, and no one was there, to her luck.

Running out of the hallway, the petite red head looked back and forth, trying to remember where she had seen the electrical store when she was here. It took her a moment, but soon enough it clicked, and she jogged off down the mall toward it.

Jace had drawn the rune on his skin as soon as she had told him not to draw any attention to himself, but he had decided to play with her a bit more on the network before giving in. What she had said in some of those comments had really yet to sink in, the only thing being that she wasn't his sister. He had wished for that ever since he had learned that she was, that it really was just a cosmic joke being played on them. Now that she had told him that she wasn't, saying that she was from a few days in his future, he felt like he could breathe again, but he still had so many questions.

He had been wandering around the store since he made himself invisible, careful not to run into anyone until he got distracted by the movie section. He hadn't seen any of them, but they were all very intriguing, and that was where he had been when he saw her running into the store. It was her, Clary, and his heart actually skipped a beat the second he saw her. The last time he had seen her, she was sleeping, and he thought he would never see her again. He was going to kill the asshat that had killed Max, and then he was going to kill, who he had thought was his father, and he doubted he would survive it.

He started walking toward her, not realizing one of the movies was still in his hand. A look on his face that could only be described as astonishment, probably at the fact he saw her again.

It took her a minute to spot him, but then it wasn't difficult to see. If he had of not been glamored he would have stuck out like a sore thumb. The black leather shadowhunter gear stood out like a sore thumb, and the seraph blades were bound to case some alarm. At least he had hidden himself, because no one seemed to be paying attention to him.

For a moment she was lost at the sight of him, and the look on his face made her stare for a moment. Considering ten minutes ago he thought he was her brother, Clary had no idea what was going on through his head, and it made her nervous.

It wasn't until she noticed the video he was carrying- pretty out on place- that she looked away from his eyes. As she approached, she tilted her head slightly, and then an amused smirk came to her face. "Planning on emerging yourself into the world of Dora the Explorer?" she asked, trying not to laugh. She didn't expect him to have any idea who or what Dora was, but it was funny all the same to see him have it. Why was he holding it, anyway?

Noticing that she was staring into his eyes as he came toward her made him happy, and a small smirk crossed his face just before she looked down to what he was holding. As she did so, he looked down too, he had forgotten that he had even picked up the damn thing, and now she was making fun of him for it. He could tell that it was a video for children, but he picked it up because he found it ridiculous that anyone would be amused by such things.

A smile came across his face as he got close enough to her to touch. "Why, yes, I was. You know how much mundane things amuse me." It was clearly sarcastic, and he quickly put it down so he could take her face into his hands as gently as he could. "Are you sure I'm not your brother?" He had to know before he did anything else, because if what she said was true, they could be together, and there was no reason for them not to be.

She still didn't see it as 'mundane' since it was the world she grew up in. But she did see it as annoying. She'd been subjected to see that show before, and it was painful. Why it was also a movie, she'd never know.

It had been months for her since she'd seen him. Months, and she did all she could to not think about him, but the extremely large amounts of drawings in her sketchbook that looked so much like him, and Simon, said she'd failed miserably at it. But now he was here. And with any luck he wouldn't be taken away like some of the others.

Her smaller hands found the back of his, looking in the direction his hands were hold her face. Green eyes met his and she smiled, for the first time in months she felt right again, she felt safe. "I'm sure." she confirmed, and was more than happy to do so

Those were the words that he wanted so desperately to hear. He wanted to hear them from her mouth as he looked into her eyes so he could know it was true. As he watched her face when she said the words, he could tell, there was no doubt in her mind that the weren't related, and that meant so much to him. He had never really believed it anyway, not really.

His grin turned to mischief as the one thing he wanted to do flashed across his mind, and now he knew that she wasn't his sister, he was allowed to do it. He leaned down slowly and brushed his lips across hers and left them there as he spoke the next words. "Then this isn't forbidden." And with that he kissed her.

When he pulled his face back just a little so he could see her eyes again, his questions came back. He didn't even know who he was anymore, was he really a Wayland? or someone else? "But now, I have no idea what my own name is."

She saw what was coming from behind that grin, and welcomed it. Though it was a good thing they were invisible to mundanes, because there were an awful lot of old people around who would probably try and beat them with a cane.

The longing to be held, and the heat that came to her only when Jace was around came rushing back, something she hadn't felt in ages. She half melted against him, fully content to stay exactly where she was, willing the kiss not to break.

But of course it had to, and the words required her to focus. Clary had expereinced this conversation before with Jace. She already knew this answer. "Your parents were Stephen and Celine Herondale." she explained. "But you know who you are." Clary drew his hands into hers, locking their fingers and held them. "You're Jace Lightwood, you're as good as their fourth kid."

He wouldn't have cared even if they weren't hidden. He had wanted to hear that he wasn't her brother since he found it out in the first place. He wanted to be with her, and gawking passersby wouldn't stop him from anything now.

He raised an eyebrow at her when she told him who his parents were. He had heard the name before, but it was probably just the family name he had heard about in his lessons about the uprising. Herondale. He certainly didn't feel like a Herondale, but Clary's next words actually made him smile, because she was right. He hugged her tight to him, kissing her hair, then letting his chin rest on the top of her head. "I guess you're right. I am pretty much one of the family."

Of course she was right, but she already knew she was going to be right because she had this conversation already. Still, it was true, he was as good as a Lightwood. Meanwhile Clary was getting use to the idea of people referring to her as Morgenstern. It felt like it was going to stick.

She happily rested her head against his chest, which wasn't hard, given her very short stature. Clary allowed herself a few moments of peace, green eyes closed as she just let herself be held.

But they couldn't stand her in an electronic store. They had to get out of here. Crazy things were on the lose. "We can't stay here." she said, pulling back. Taking one of his hands, she pulled him toward the exit of the store. "Too many crazy things in this city, we should get back to the apartments we're staying at. It's fortified and secure." at least mostly, she didn't know how well it would stand against Gods yet.

He frowned when she pulled away from him. He would have been happy for her to have never left his arms. In fact, he didn't ever want that to happen. He wanted to be with her as much as he could, especially since he had spent the past month or so thinking she was his sister and he would never be able to be with her. He let her pull him out of the store and down a short length of the mall.

When she spoke of the crazy things that were in the city, he rolled his eyes. "Whatever things they are, I'm sure it's nothing we can't handle." With another mischievious grin he looked over at her. "But the idea of going back to your apartment sounds like a good plan to me."

Yes, that was Jace, always so sure of himself. He was going to be in for a serious news flash when he stuck around here long enough. "Don't count on it." she said as she pulled him through the mall, changing course every now and then to avoid touching people as they passed. "You've never dealt with gods before." Even the people who had seemed worried.

"And Lucifer. Some big wig demon is trying to free him." it was real party here, with demons looking like people if they possessed them. They were walking back, she wasn't doing that portal thing again.

When she brought them back to the back hallway she'd arrived in, stopped, and then turned to face Jace, pulling out here Stele. "Gear off." she instructed. "At least the shirt. I have to mark you before we go outside. You're not allowed to become possessed. The world couldn't handle that much cockiness." because them demons did seem pretty cocky on their own, they didn't need Jace's thoughts too.

Jace only grinned wider when she told him that he wouldn't be able to handle the bad things that were running around in this world. He let her pull him through the mall. It was nice to have her hand in his without thingking it was wrong. "Lucifer? Really?"

When she stopped them in the back hall and instructed him to take his gear off and even his shirt. He grinned over at her, wondering what was going through her head, then he heard the reason was that she needed to mark him and listened to her reasons with a wider grin. "If you want me to take my clothes off, you're gonna have to ask nicer than that."

"Really." she replied, trying to ignore the grin on his face. It made her uncomfortable. Jace, of all people, should know that taking on one of the higher levels of Angels themselves was stupid, and not something to grin about. Sometimes, he worried her.

Holding her stele up, the barely five foot force that was Clary glared u at Jace, looking somewhat annoyed. "Get marked or risk possession." she wasn't going to try and sweet talk his shirt off when her mind was more focused on getting them back to the apartments where it was safe.

Jace could see the true annoyance in her face and her eyes, and he decided that instead of taking it too far like he usually does, he would give in because she was clearly concerned that he would be possessed if he walked outside without this mark. He put his hand on her cheek as he used his other to unbuckle his weapons belt.

He leaned down and kissed her gently on the lips with a small grin. "You know, you really should start asking nicely." As he shrugged off his jacket and lastly pulled his grey t-shirt up over his head. He was then standing with nothing on the top half of his body but the wirey, raised scars from past marks as well as the dark black marks from his permanent runes. Somehow, coming to this world must have gotten rid of his temporary marks, because he had made as many as he could that morning to make sure he would be prepared to fight Sebastian and then Valentine.

She gave him an annoyed look, which turned into an amused smile when he finally did what she asked. Placing one hand on his shoulder, she walked around him to be facing his back. The thin scarred remains of her fearless rune was right beside her hand. She knew better than to tell him to hold still. Bringing the stele to his skin, she quickly began to draw the rune. It was more elaborate than most runes, so it took a bit longer. But soon enough she was done, and the black marks of the permanent rune was now looking at her.

Knowing he couldn't be possessed left her feeling instantly relieved. "Done." she said, examining her work for a minute. "And now they can't take over your body." and that was a huge comfort for her. "So this apartment building we're going to." she started, moving back around to face him. "Is basically filled and operated with other displaced people. There's a lot of us. It's safe, and we can get you a room there."

She gave him time to put his gear back on before she started to lead him toward the door again.

As she marked him, his body tensed instinctively. He had thought she was his sister not long ago, and some of that was going to take a while to get used to. He relaxed himself quickly to her touch, and as she came back around to face him, he grabbed her up and pulled her to him and gave her the first real kiss he had given her since he had arrived in this place.

He didn't want to pull away from her, but he slowly did, realizing what she had said. As he leaned over to pick up his shirt and pull it back on over his shoulders, he looked at her with a grin only Jace could give. "I don't need a room." That was all he said as he finished getting his jacket and gear on and let her lead him toward the door, lacing his fingers with hers once more.

He needed a room, because this, this would be her downfall. Whenever he touched her, she gave in, she usually urged him on. And in a place like this. No war, no concerns like that, no parents, there probably wasn't going to be much to keep her in check for long. And she wasn't quite ready for that. Yet when he kissed her, she lost her reasoning.

Slightly out of breath when he pulled back, she sighed, already seeing herself losing this argument. "Yes you do." and she'd see to it that he did. When they reached the outdoors, she looked to the street. "Come on, I need to get us a cab." they needed a cab to get back, just as soon as the rune wore off, which shouldn't be long now.

Jace couldn't get the smile off his face. She was here, whereever here was, and she wasn't his sister. He couldn't get over that. He couldn't get over the fact that he could have her, and she was right there, lacing her fingers in his, and they fit perfectly. He wanted to know everything. What had happened in those few days that had happened before she had arrived here. How she had learned all this information that was so important to him, but most importantly, he wanted to be with her, to see her everyday, every minute if he could, and having his own room wouldn't work for that.

He again let her pull him out the door, she was in such a hurry to get back to the apartment complex. "Clary, come on." That was more about his room than getting the cab, but he knew that she would argue again. He needed to know a few things about this aparment complex first before he could argue. "How far is it? And about the complex, are there rules about who lives with who?"

She knew where he was going with this, and honestly the though didn't bother her, but it did make her slightly nervous. Living in the same building was one thing, sharing the same room was something else. It wasn't the same as letting him sleep in the same bed as her once.

"Not too far. We could walk it if you want but it would take longer." A half hour or more, but neither of them could be possessed or seen. "And there's no rules." said carefully, her eyes flicking over at him as she said this to see his reaction.

"Well, there's rules, but not about who rooms with who." yeah there were rules, like that stupid under eighteen rules.
