There was definately something going on. The humor wasn't there. But more importantly the fact that Virgil wanted to go out almost caught Richie off guard. He'd been so hesitant ever since he'd arrived, that it was a bit surprising. But he wasn't about to argue the fact. "'K," he nodded heading to the closet. "Gimme a sec."
He'd gotten getting into his costume down to a science. It only took him about 6 minutes as opposed to ten when he'd started. Earlier in the week he'd done spot checks to make sure that his equipment was all up and functioning. It was. The final touch he snapped his skates and BackPack took its position. The balcony was clearly the fastest way out. He was all suited up and ready. He walked over to the door. "So we don't use windows anymore," she shrugged. "Balconies are lot easier. Easier on the gear too." It meant less jostling for BackPack when you could just land and walk in. "Shall we?"
