"Sorry. " He felt bad. He knew he should have been there earlier, but in all honesty he'd lost track of time. "I stopped by the junk yard and let off a little steam." Or alot. But he didn't mention that part. It was probably obvious by the lack of humor in his eyes. He was just tired and upset. But he was trying to put up a good front at least. Virgil wasn't good with family stuff to begin with, and then to find out that Bart didn't even want to be near him was to hard. For a while his eyes stayed down by his feet, and his hands in his red pants pocket. Lost in a downward spiral until Richie came up with some kind of blueprints.
"It's never dark for me Richie." To prove his point a tiny spark of electricity crackled around his second finger showing off a vibrant light, but then he looked at the blue prints he gave him a small smile. " Yeah. It does." The kittens Oliver had showed him were adorable, but right now the last thing he wanted to think about were them. They were the last thing that he and Bart had wanted before things got awkward and Virgil's brows wrinkled together uncomfortably. "Lets just look at something else right now, okay?"
