WHO: Xander Harris and Dawn Summers. WHAT: Catching up. WHEN: Afternoon. WHERE: The apartments. RATING: PG. Probably.
There were all sorts of different arrivals around here. The fun kind (like epic superheroes), the all right kind (also known as people that Xander knew nothing about), and the familiar kind. Xander had learned that it wasn't all too often when the familiar faces popped up. Yet when they did, it was either a really, really bad thing (hi, Faith) or something that turned out to be surprisingly pleasing. The last that Xander could remember seeing Dawn, it was before he went chasing after Willow in hopes of being able to talk her down from ending the world. Xander had long since learned that people were different because they were all coming in from various points in time, but that did not change the fact that he was looking forward to seeing the mini Summers sister. It was upsetting that she was here rather than wherever it was that she belonged, but at least Xander knew that they'd be looking after her. Buffy would. He would. She was safe with them.
Deciding that he'd drop in to pay The Dawnster a visit, Xander shuffled down to the lobby. He was hoping to find out what room she was in from there, as he had no idea where Buffy had assigned her as of yet. What floor? Which side of the building? There was probably a sheet somewhere up front that would be able to tell him, if not one of the others, so Xander moved in that general direction in hopes of finding out. Dawn was going to need as many familiar faces around here for herself as she could. Because time travel and alternate universe cruising was pretty crazy. But that was just the icing on the very, very confusing cake.
Xander only hoped that she never ever learned about his gay little romp with Andrew. Because, ew. It was already bad enough that it had happened. Stupid pink kryptonite.
