But it was a far cry from either Marian's own home, or Nottingham Castle. As different as it was from the buildings they had known before, it was closer to what she was used to than his forest dwelling.
And anyway, her smile was infectious, and he shoved the thoughts aside, focusing as always on the matter at hand. At least, in this case, the matter at hand was an entirely pleasant one.

As he did, it tangled with the string of his outlaw tag, and he had another recollection. "It also said the design could be tattooed on, I think; did you not want to go that route?" He winked at her.
