WHO: Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. WHAT: A reunion. Probably an awkward one. WHEN: Afternoon. WHERE: The apartments. RATING: TBD.
As if going out of his mind had not been enough, Ron now had to face off one of the people that he had been desperate to see again for the past seven months. That in itself was supposed to be an exciting event for him - after all, Ron had been sort of hoping that one of his friends or family members would show (one that he actually could remember, as Rose and James were the two people that he had merely gotten to know over the past while) - but what with his discovery that Hermione was a few years ahead of himself, along with the completely mad behavior that he had exercised over the past while, Ron could not help but feel a little more than anxious. The last time Ron had properly seen Hermione was when he had abandoned her and Harry at camp. Was she still angry with him about that? He had learned through various sources that he eventually did return to the duo, but there was and always would be a very big difference between experiencing something and seeing it happen. He still had those odd and uncomfortable feelings buried away inside. Add to the fact that Hermione was ahead of him in the age bracket and Ron found that he didn't quite know what to do or say to her. Rose and James were a different situation - he had not known them for too long. Hermione, on the other hand, was someone that he had known for over seven years now. It would be a shock if anyone could simply walk up to someone that they knew for so long at a different age and avoid the confusion that came with it.
All the same, Ron wanted to see her. Not only because he didn't want to come off as evasive, but because he had missed her. Shame and uncertainty aside, Hermione was and always would be one of the most important people in his life. He was more than willing to push aside those odd feelings for her. There were not many people from their world here. She was going t need a familiar face around. Ron knew what it was like to show up here without anyone. At the very least, he could provide her the comfort of knowing that she was not alone in this mess.
Once he had finished talking to her over the Muggle computer box thing, he went downstairs to find her. He didn't look as bad as he had when he was on that kryptonite. Ron was a lot cleaner, he was dressed less sloppily (but somewhat sloppy all the same!), and he looked as though he had actually gotten more than five minutes worth of sleep. Fingers pushing through the ginger's hair, Ron found the computer area and began scouring for Hermione the moment he got there. He didn't imagine she'd look too different. She was still Hermione, right?
