Demons, she didn't care for the scent, and she didn't care for the mix up. Kate was sort of hoping the first demon she ran into had spread the message that the new girl who looked like someone who had been possessed was actually a different person. Though she did read the paper, and her work wasn't too far from here. "You mean the disappearances? I heard about those, I work pretty close, drunk people talk. But other than people missing, I haven't heard much." she hadn't tried to seek anything out either.
Kate studied the building for a moment, perfect vision taking in the very normal appearance. "I don't know much about the demons here. Besides the black eyes and the anti-possession stuff. Adam, a man from my world who's also here, and I have learned the drawing at the latin, but..." she shrugged. She was trying to stay about of this as much as possible. She missed her pack. "Could you maybe define 'weird' more?"
Kate glanced from the building then back to Sam, and she tilted her head. "You're being awkward. Why? Am I making you that uncomfortable?" that wasn't usually the reaction she got. She usually didn't much effort into her appearance, but simply for being blue eyed and blonde she usually got people pretty relaxed around her. Or at least men anyway. Though perhaps the demon had done something to Sam. She was apparently psychotic. "I'm not an evil demon, promise, I can't help that she had my face. But trust me when I say we're totally different people." different levels of not-human. At least Kate had a heart.
