Body language was something she read well, and it wasn't hard to tell something was making him uncomfortable. Okay, she'd had that reaction from people before, but that was usually from mutts who were convinced her dad was lurking somewhere close.
Sam, right. Now she remembered, and the demon was named Ruby. "Right, Sam." she said, shifting her weight to one foot, arms crossed over her chest. He clearly didn't remember her name, but he seemed to know her face. Apparently her face was popular around here if you knew where to look. "I'm Kate." she said, preferring not to be known as the internet girl. "The girl with and identical face as your friends old face, but not a demon." and taller, though she didn't know that much.
Kate eyed his outfit and then looked at the office building. "You didn't really strike me as the office-employee type." she knew very well that he wasn't, though again, neither was she, but she was walking around in a semi-formal attire. Hunter, demons, yeah, she'd been told the basic story, though she hadn't paid much attention to what was really going on. No one knew what she was outside of Adam, and Jason, and no one knew what Adam was besides her. With any luck it would stay that way. "Something evil lurking inside?" Maybe it was a law firm? That could explain it.
