However she had been infected with, Kate had been left in a pretty cranky mood since it had left her system. Being a werewolf meant she was walking a thin line already, one she knew well. But that stuff had pushed her a bit too far. She had fully intended to kill that boy she had hunted down, but thankfully Adam had showed up when he did. Now it was out of her system and Kate had ditched the whole dress and make up look to go back to her usual ways. Jeans, a t-shirt and running shoes. She wasn't a fancy dresser most days, she took after her mother like that. Except for today, as she had just got out of a meeting with her boss, so dressy attire it was.
Winter was coming, it was September now, still the cold hadn't set in. She was almost looking forward to it, a change of weather would make her runs more interesting. She could use that right about now. Kate was coming out of a store, purchase in hand, when she saw a familiar face not to far away.
Was it that Danny guy she had met? Curious, and interested to say hi since she hadn't seen him since that semi-save, Kate picked up her pace a little, running toward him. "Hey!" she said when she was close enough, trying to get his attention without yelling. "Hey, Da-" but when she got close enough, she was able to pull out his scent from the crowed.
Nope, not Danny. No, it was that guy who was friends with that demon who she apparently looked like. Or use to look like. To a point, she doubted that any doppelganger here had a werewolves physique, and maybe not as tall. When she slowed, just a few feet away from him, she smiled slightly. "Sorry, I thought you were that...other you. Danny, I think." That was his name, wasn't it? That was what she got for not being social with others. Her mother tried to break her of it, so when she saw someone she knew she at least tried to strike up a conversation, even if she didn't go out of her way any other time.
