He noted the question, but didn't pull away to answer this one. He kept the kiss going, smiling slightly as he felt her fingers curl around his. This was nice. This was very nice. He deepened the kiss, but kept it slow and gentle, rather than the kind of hungry kiss they usually engaged in. He wanted her to really feel it, rather than just blowing right through everything, and he had a feeling this was probably the best time to do that.
Finally, when he had to come up for air, he smiled a little. He kept his face close to hers, and kept his hand in hers. "Nah. I think he was just balancing on the sil." Although he had heard rumors about Dracula having some kind of fucked up powers, so who knew? Maybe Lothos and his kin could hover. Probably not, though. He wasn't necessarily sure if he believed the Dracula hype, either.
Instead of diving right back in, he decided now might be a good time to try and get her to open up a little. "How 'bout you? Was the first time you learned about all this when you became the Slayer, or...?" He very deliberately referred to her as the Slayer, rather than a Slayer.
