"It's a good thing that it's because of the insanity going around," Lindsey stated. "Usually when people change under their own power, there's no changing them back." It was more of an idle observance than a reassurance. He didn't know her or her situation well enough to be reassuring, if he felt like being reassuring. That rarely happened even with people he knew.
He was at least following some of that advice already. There was a bottle of holy water in his coat pocket. No one had mentioned anything about a cross but he still wore it, tucked under his shirt, away from sight. "What about holy objects?" he asked. "I've heard the rest. It hasn't been said one way or another how effective those are." He made a mental note to talk to at least one of the Winchesters. At least they weren't in tight with the complex's residents. Although if they found out he was the one who had set Ruby loose, he couldn't see them being too forthcoming after.
Lindsey fell in step with Ruby, following her lead towards the place she'd talked up. He smiled faintly. "I came from one apocalypse to the other. Demons, vampires, I'm used to it. Fictional characters and aliens are new but fall easily into that category of weird." He shrugged, dismissive. "It's an improvement from where I thought I was heading when I drew my last breath."
