Ruby paced about the trap Dean had left her in decidedly unamused and rained on. She didn't mind in some ways, she was near Sam, she'd hopefully get to see him soon but the chance to get out of the trap would help. She could go back to her place and change before coming back and making sure Sam was okay. Or at least being helped, being watched. She knew he'd hate it if he'd actually hurt anyone. Maybe even her. Very possibly even her. And a few people had offered but she'd chosen the lawyer who'd worked with demons and very specifically not made a deal with her. She actually approved of that. He'd known enough to know just how bad an idea that was, but hadn't been repulsed by the fact she was a demon.
And so she'd told him she'd help him out with money and get him some food if he let her out. The guy wanted to make a mark on this place but he was starting from scratch with nothing. Perfect fodder for the demons, for Lilith, and if she really was signing up to team good guy, or at the very least Team Sam she'd have to help people like that out. He didn't seem to want to play with the good guys and she got that. Neither did she most of the time. Sure she helped when Sam had needed it and Andrea had oddly become a friend, a fact that hadn't changed with everything that had happened. But the whole 'team spirit' thing, that wasn't her. And it didn't seem to be this guy either.
