Eliot grinned. "You're kidding me. Rangers lead the way," he said, shaking his head. He'd spent some time in the military before circumstances had led to him leaving the unit and going on his own, but the respect was still there for anyone who had served for their country. It was also a moment of normalcy. None of that demonic shit or rocks that made people go crazy or do things they couldn't do before.
"That's the idea. You sit around thinking, you're going to backslide into losing your mind. There's enough people doing that around here without adding one more to the numbers," he said dryly.
He pushed away from the counter, walking backwards towards the door. "I'm not doing anything. After the past couple of days, I could use a drink."
