Marian returned the smile, biting her lip after a moment. She didn't mean to startle her too much. She knew she was likely to have not been heard when she arrived, but she didn't anticipate that sort of reaction.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you."
When she said she was fine, and started to explain why she was here, Marian listened politely, nodding a little. She didn't really know of that way to cure a stomach upset, usually relying on a physician in the rare occasion she got sick. She glanced down at the offered hand, before shaking herself into action and taking it, greeting her.
