After she had collapsed in her kitchen, he world had gone dark. She hadn't moved a muscle since then. Hadn't stirred, hadn't twitched, save for the breathing, which wasn't always the most convincing. How long ago that was, Kara didn't know. One minute she had been in pain, and the next thing she knew, her eyes were flying open and she was staring at the medical bay. Sitting straight up, the Kryptonian looked around the room, her hand coming to her head.

Not that it hurt, she just felt...foggy. The movement of her hand made her look at her palm. She there was a bandage on it. That's right, she had fallen on the glass. Using her other hand, she pulled the bandage off easily, revealing unmarked skin below.

Turning her head to look at the window, she knew it was still morning based on the sun. Now, the question was, who took her down there, and was everyone still completely insane?

There was only one thing that could have affect her like that. But how had it come to this Kansas? Had Lilith found a way to pull it through? Swinging her legs over the bed she had been laying on, she slid onto the floor, heals of her red boots clicking as she did. Someone had to check the water systems as well.

Warren had been staying with Kara since he had brought her down to the Medical Bay. He didn't understand what had happened, because she had told him that she was everything resistant, and the next thing he knew, she was unconscious. Either she had been lying about that, or something very wrong had happened. He had fallen asleep in the chair beside her bed, waiting for any sense of a stirring from her, but it had been days.

When she shot up in bed, he jumped awake, not realizing what had happened for a few seconds. Then he saw the blonde sitting up in bed as he sat up straight, keeping an eye on her and noticing her hand was no longer cut. When she stood up beside her bed he got up immediately going over to her side to make sure she was steady, the hot touch of his hands against her arm and back. "Whoa, maybe you should sit back down." He may have been a hothead, but he took care of people who needed it.

She hadn't noticed the person in the room at first, so she had twisted slightly to see the man walking toward her. A look of confusion came over her face as she watched the man, who then tried to get her to sit back down. She noted the heat coming off him, but it didn't bother her. Though she didn't budge from her spot either. At the most she expected to wake up alone. Maybe Andrea if she was lucky. But Kara hadn't expect someone she didn't know...or at least know well.

She knew him from somewhere. It took her a moment to realize that he was the one who had been talking about burning places down because he was annoyed. What was the hot head doing here? Had he found her?

Kara tilted her head slightly, and then turned to face him, moving away from his touch just a little. Why was he here? "I'm fine." she said honestly. "It's out of my system, I'm okay." she doubted he knew what 'it' was. But he might, it was on the internet.

He noticed her moving away from ever so slightly, and he immediately dropped his hands, and took a step back from her, realizing his very warm hands trying to keep her steady might not have been the best way to calm her down or anything really.

He looked over to the window, then back at her as he tried to make sure she really was okay. He didn't want to leave her alone unless she was, but if she was adament enough he would give up and leave her alone if that was what she wanted. "Okay, but you were asleep for a few days. How do you know what happened? What was it?" He didn't know the reasons the people in this town had gone insane recently. He didn't even know who she or Clark were, the comics in his world were of the real Superheroes, like his parents, and his best friend's parents.

It seemed a little much, that Kryptonite could be here, let along in her water lines and affecting people all over, but that had to be it. Nothing else had that affect on her. "It was Kryptonite." she explain. "Radioactive pieces of a planet called Krypton. A certain kind of it can kill me." she was lucky she wasn't dead. The dose had to be low enough to keep her out for that long.

He had said days which made her frown. "I wasn't asleep...but you said days? How long have I been down here?" she really needed to start carrying a watch, it would make life easier. Her cellphone was probably still up in her bag where she had dropped it when she first came in.

She glance down at her attire. Jeans, red tank top, mini white jacket. Her cuff still on her arm and her crest still on the chair around her neck. Everything seemed in place, but it had only seemed like moments ago. The fact that she had been out that long seemed extreme. New world, new rules.

So she wasn't everything resistant. This particular thing was what could hurt her, and it had ended up here of all places. That was interesting. She asked how long she had been in the med bay, which was one thing he could tell her the truth on. He had been the one to bring her down there. He hadn't found her. Another girl, who had been acting very crazy was the one to find her, but he was the one that realized she needed to be down there, and that people needed to know what had happened to her.

"You've been down here almost as long as you've been out. I live on the fourth floor, and I heard you collapse, I brought you down here." He didn't really know what else to say, but she didn't seem to want him there, so he took another step away from her. "Listen, if you don't want me here, I can leave." The look on his face turning back to the hot head he will always be.

That didn't tell her how long she'd been out. He said a few days but that could mean anything. Well she'd figure it out on her own when she went back to her apartment. She was going to have to start scanning the building to find where all the rocks were. The green ones for sure. She didn't want to drop dead from taking a shower.

Kara turned to face him, arching an eyebrow. "You are a hot-head, aren't you?" she asked with a slight quirk of her lips. "I don't believe I once said that, or even hinted to that." but it was his own conclusions. "Thanks, for finding me. But now I'm worried, I finally know what is going on." and it wasn't a good thing, nothing to be happy about. In fact, she was more worried, because it could happen again to anyone.

Warren rolled his eyes at her comment of him being a hothead, and decided to be a bit of a showoff as well. His hand went up in flames as he looked over at her with a small smile on his face. "This hot enough for you?" He didn't mind anyone knowing about his powers here, they all seemed to be open about them, which was pretty interesting and reminded him of being back at Sky High. He was just waiting to start a firefight, because he knew it would happen eventually. Most of these people were getting on his nerves.

She then said she was worried, and he wanted to help. "How are you going to fix it? If it's rocks. How do we get rid of them?" He was all for helping her do this, because he wanted the people to stop being so insane and getting on his bad side.

The only reaction he got from the fire were her eyes looking at his hands, and then the smallest of smirk. So he was a show off. Well, two could really play at that game. Reaching with her arm in a blurring speed, her hand wrapped right around his that was on fire and held it. She made no signs of being in pain, before she slowly took her hand away and held it up. Undamaged, not a sign of burn. "I think I can handle it." she quipped, before dropping her hand.

"I usually over heat them until they explode. You can't really get rid of all of them." they were everywhere in Smallville, but there seemed to be a very large amount concentrated around Lawrence, that was extra powerful.
