Everything was a mess. Life was a mess, no life sucked. Life just flat out and totally sucked right now. Everything about it was falling apart and everything just was getting to be too much for Caroline to handle. She was trying so hard to keep it all together, to keep herself under control and one way to do that was to over plan everything. Focus on doing something rather than doing anything else. Yes, that was exactly what she was going to do. Stefan was probably drinking. Damon too, and Caroline? Well Caroline was going to go meet up with Giles and help organize some of the clean up and probably talk about some kind of fund raiser that they could put together to help clean up all the mess they all now faced. More than once on her way over she looked down at her phone ready to text Bonnie or Elena, but she couldn't. They were both gone. Her two best friends were gone. One killed and the other vanished thanks to the freaking seal, and here she was on her own without either of them. She had the Salvatore brothers to put up with though. Not that she was upset with either of them, it was just that she was upset with everything. Nothing was okay, everything was a mess. She'd arrived at the clean up headquarters a little bit early and dove right into taking over what other people were clearly not doing a good job with organizing a couple of teams. She could normally be okay to people during these situations, normally. Right now was not the case. Over the short time she'd been there she hadn't even realized that people were looking at her like she was some freaking organization bitch. "I don't care if you find it hard, it's not. So stop wasting time and figure it out already." Caroline snapped at some poor person who in reality wasn't doing a bad job, it was just that Caroline wasn't okay. She was falling apart. "What? It's not." She snapped at someone else who gave her a look. "I swear if you want anything done right, you have to do it yourself." She growled out. |
