ROSE & DAMIEN - TRIGGER WARNING FOR MENTION OF CHARACTER DEATH
"Regina's magic is pretty impressive, anyway." Rose was kind of looking forward to this show, too. Overall, she was really glad they'd done this party thing, even if not everyone agreed with them or their reasons. They had a good turnout and people seemed to be having a good time. Even the uncomfortableness of being face to face with someone who looked like Christian couldn't really change how she felt about what they were doing here today.
"Thanks," she said when he complimented the cabin. "It was a lot simpler before, but Regina did a lot of embellishing to make room for all of us. It's a lot better than some people have, so I'm pretty grateful we have it." She managed a smile, one that was half-faked, but should be good enough. It was clear that Damien was moving on from their conversation and she kept the relief she felt from her face. Damien seemed like a nice enough guy. Being around him now was just a reminder of things she didn't like to think about, especially in a setting like this.
