Edwin Jarvis had an undying loyalty to the Stark family and especially to Howard Stark who offered him and Anna a chance at life together. So, it hadn't been a surprise to learn that he went on to become a butler to Tony Stark as well. Even if he hadn't had the opportunity to meet him in the main timeline, outside of Lawrence. He was more than happy to meet him though and he knew enough about the Stark family to have an idea of what to expect. He had also met him briefly the other time he was here. Though, they only had the opportunity to talk over the network which was a most useful device. Organising a place for them to have lunch, he let Master Stark know the details with plenty of time to spare.

When the time came, he dressed in his usual suit, made his way to the restaurant to await the arrival of his future employer. He would admit to himself that he was looking forward to having the opportunity to talk to the other man in person, to see what he was like. He thought that there was a lot of Howard in him, at least his influence and intelligence from what he knew but he would refrain from making any judgements too hastily.

Time would tell after all.

Tony could never get over the craziness of this place. It was weird enough when he was here before and met alternate versions of himself and Bruce. But, nothing was quite as crazy as seeing both his Aunt Peggy and Jarvis, alive and young. Especially Jarvis, as he had pretty much raised him, while his father had been busy working. Howard Stark had had very little time for his son while he was alive. And, Tony had spent a long time resenting him for that.

Still, he as looking forward to the chance to see him again. Even if this version was from a good while before he was born. Before his father had met his mother, even. Still, lost in his work, he almost forgot. Until JARVIS reminded him of the time, and he hurriedly changed into something more suitable for a restaurant.

As he entered the restaurant, it didn't take him long to notice his butler sat at a table, and he approached with a smile. Holding out his hand, which felt a bit strange considering how close they had once been. "Jarvis."
