“The bow is acceptable because she loves her bows and the whole needing to protect herself here because ‘let’s face it this place isn’t the poster child city for safety.” Lydia said actually pretty amused at how well this guy was taking it. He could have completely taken it the wrong way and be angry, or annoyed, or a total jerk to Lydia, but he wasn’t so Lydia took that all as a good sign. “Oh, if you’d gotten her all of those things I’d have suggested she and I move.” Lydia said with signs of amusement.
Watching as he reacted to her comment about Prue, she was curious at how he would react to being called out, and that Lydia had done her research on him, well as much as she could. “I read a lot.” Lydia said not even saying how exactly she knew. Research and reading were things she was actually very good at. “I’m sorry it took her, and those are acceptable things for you know, someone you’re getting married to, or married too.” Lydia said sort of amused. “You must be from a very interesting world that giving such elaborate gifts is common for you.” She said.
Nodding, Lydia could agree with that. “Take her shooting things, that always is a good step, see showing interest in something she’s interested in and something small.” She said nodding. “Besides, the better you all are at your shooting probably the safer off I am. I’m not the weapons girl.” Lydia said, no she was just the girl that randomly found dead bodies and had a strange knowledge of seeking out the supernatural. There were a lot of things that Lydia still didn’t understand about what she was, which is why she was still really upset that Bobby was gone, he’d been willing to help her figure it out.
