"Oh, we all know that was a weird week, I decided to fall for a guy who is in desperate need of a hair cut and it was just awkward... Really awkward. So, anything that happened during that week is completely understandable." Lydia said as she lifted her right hand and waved that part off as if that wasn't actually the purpose of talking to him. Which it was, and wasn't, but he'd still offered for Allison to keep the car, after all the insanity, yeah, that was where her curiosity was coming from.
"So, your idea of a romantic showing is to buy someone a car? Okay, so while that might work on someone like me..." She paused as she thought about that for a moment. "Actually no, that would have worked on me two years ago... But enough about me, this is Allison we're talking about, and you don't know her well enough to be buying her stuff like that! I get the whole helping out a friend and I totally told Allison to keep the car, but for totally selfish reasons." Lydia said rapidly and paused. Given that Lydia had actually asked Bobby and Caroline before they'd left and or vanished who she should talk to about getting a car given that randomly wondering around finding dead bodies without a car kind of really sucked.
"Yeah, Prue right?" Lydia said having clearly done her research. "You didn't start out buying her a house or something did you? Because that would be a pretty awkward thing to start with too." She said rolling her eyes like that'd be a really weird thing to do. "Anyways, Allison deserves only the best and if you really want to get to know her, start out small. Cars are big, and intimidating and not you know, hey let's be friends and get to know each other. They say a hell of a lot more than that. Especially seeing as she doesn't even know you yet!"
