So, while things were different here, they weren't THAT different. Lydia still randomly found dead bodies, and there were still weird things and supernatural stuff that made life really weird, okay a totally different kind of weird, but still really weird. Totally weird actually and she kinda didn't always like that.
Beyond the whole, hey there is this insane not dead but dead vampire thing that may or may not be saved thing... Lydia had other worries, like her not so dead best friends sort of secret admirer that might not totally be, but he was giving her expensive bows and offering to get her a car. A freaking car. Frankly Lydia was the one that actually needed a car, because supernatural death low jack and public transportation kind of totally sucked. But you know, hold the kind of. It totally sucked.
She'd just been getting back home from working with college advisors because even the college classes she talked about she'd pass without even working too hard. She was just about to head up to her apartment that she shared with Allison when she saw the man in question, Damien Thorn, previously married, owned a number of weapons and that was not enough information for Lydia to decide if he was good enough to even talk to her not so dead best friend.
As she saw his car, please like she hadn't figured that out, she turned right around and marched right towards him as he got out of his car, high heels and all. "You!" Lydia stated rather than stating his name, which she did of course know.
"You know just offering a girl a car is really awkward, especially without you know, dinner,a movie, anything else. What exactly are your intensions with Allison?" She said as she stopped, crossing her arms, her blue purse swinging as it was hooked in her left elbow.
