It was true - Davina had been torturing herself and, no, it really wasn't helping anything. At least if she did as Cami said and confronted the matter she'd have an answer. She hoped. It would take a massive effort to overcome her fears but she was stronger than just giving in. She had faced more than she'd ever believed was possible just a few short years ago. She could face talking to a guy, even if it was Kol. And if he was put off by it... Oh God, she really didn't want him to be put off by it. She wanted him to kiss her again, like he had that night. She wanted him to want her like she wanted him. She wanted something more, something special. Could she take the risk? Was it worth it? But, really, how much better off was she now. She was confused and angry and jealous and that wasn't who she wanted to be. She wanted a life.
"What about you?" Davina said after a moment, reaching out to pick up her coffee once again. "Are you going to take your own advice?" Davina knew Cami was as mixed up with the Original family as she was. It was all very well her sitting here and telling Davina to face her fears but could she do the same?
Davina lifted her cup to her lips and took a long drink of the sweet, milky coffee, watching Cami over the paper rim. She didn't know exactly what there was between Cami and Klaus but Davina had seen the look in Klaus' eyes when he'd thought she might have been pushed out of her body and the relief that had flooded them when she'd still been herself. There was something there, even if the Klaus here wasn't aware of it.
