His hybrid senses picked up the blood before anything else. Elijah was perfectly fine but surrounded by blood and death and Klaus had to admit to being suprised. This was not what he had expected from his brother at all. He'd heard some of the stories from the brief time Rebekah was here, Esther had plans for her children. New bodies for them. And she'd done things to Elijah that he could hardly fathom. He didn't know the whole story of course which it seemed was probably for the best.
He finally reached the bar, and actually managed to hide the level of impressed he'd felt. It was quite the massacre.
And his brother sat calm, focused on his drink. Bloodstained. It wasn't the first time Elijah had killed but there was little artistry here. This wasn't for any reason. This was death for the sake of death. Blood because blood was so much of what they were. This was uncontrollled slaughter. And that was much more usual for himself or for Kol than Elijah.
"Well, this is hardly the welcome I had intended but we'll work with what we have. For now though Elijah, we will need to clean this up. And then you can tell me what on earth provoked this"
