That recent day on his sparring mats was still on her mind, despite all that had happened since, with him, Sam....and now, even Stefan. This was seriously getting ridiculous. Though the fact that he swore, even a minor one, had her grinning in triumph where he couldn't see.
After slipping into the car, she closed the door with deliberate precision, a perfectly sweet, innocent look on her face while she buckled. Mercy took a brief second to filter through the scents in the car and frowned minutely when she did indeed smell herself, though it was faint. Jesse was more recent, and the thought of his daughter caused a sharp pang in her heart, and she glanced over at him as he spoke.
After a long moment of silence, mainly because it wouldn't cause her to lose anything if she did take these classes, Mercy finally gave a faint nod. "I'll take them," she said, though she really wish he'd given her the option instead of practically demanding she do it. But he was hurting, and she could feel it, so she'd go a little easier on him.
