Volunteering to help hadn't really been something that Abby was too worried about. Life was dangerous no matter where she went or what she did she decided, so she might as well help out here where she could. It was the least she could do, besides it helped to keep her busy. She felt awkward here not really knowing where she fit in. She was pleased to have Becker and Connor here, but sometimes she still felt out of place or as though she wasn't really sure where she fit into this world.
Abby's shift was just starting to reach it's end and she was planning on going to the store and getting some food to cook for dinner. Living with two blokes meant that there was always a need for food around. She liked to tease both Becker and Connor about that, along with their dino pets. Abby smiled softly thinking about Rex especially. It was so good to have him here, she'd missed him more than she could really express and now that she had him things felt better.
As she was heading down the street she caught sight of someone she'd seen around the apartment building before. She couldn't exactly recall his name but it looked as though he was on patrol. She crossed the street to fall in line with him. It might be good to actually talk to the people in her building more, this seemed like a good chance for that. Break out Abby, get to know more people Abby she told herself. "Hello there." She said with a friendly smile on her face. "I'm Abby, I think we're neighbors, or at least in the same building."
