"Gotta love magic." Everyone at home knew all about Lissa and Adrian's abilities, but Rose didn't really like to broadcast it too openly around here to the people who didn't already know, even if they could just look it up on the Internet. She was too used to the idea of having to hide what they were from humans, even here where everyone knew about the supernatural.
"Wow, Paris, that must have been really cool." Her trips to Siberia aside, Rose hadn't done a lot of traveling outside of the United States. She often though that seeing other places might be fun, but any traveling she did lately was with Lissa. That was fine with her. Rose had long ago gotten over any resentment she had over having to put her duty to Lissa and the Moroi first.
Rose shook her head at his question. "Lissa's a student here, I'm really just along for the ride." She was fine with that, glad she didn't have to do homework anymore. She could have taken classes, too, but she didn't want to do anything that might distract her from keeping Lissa and the others safe, especially now that she was the only Guardian here.
