WHO: Jack and Jemma
WHEN: Early hours of Saturday Morning
WHERE: Lawrence Memorial Hospital
WHAT: Finding Jemma
RATING/STATUS: TBC/In progress
Had he finally found her, a Jane Doe admitted to a hospital with a Gun shot wound, still unconscious the admission times kinda matched, she would have been bleeding for quite some time but that would make sense if she had tried to hide and passed out from the blood loss.
Arriving at the hospital Jack managed to sweet talk the receptionist into letting him see if he could identify their Jane Doe. It wasn't too hard his description matched he was escorted to her room and saw her laying there hooked up to a number of machines. Jack was hit with a mixture of relief that he had found her and dread that she was so pale and still unconscious.
Grabbing a doctors attention he found out that apparently the bullet hadn't been lodged too deep but had caused a significant bleed, they had removed the bullet and patched her up and were just waiting for her to wake.
Jack checked his messages and saw none of her friends had replied to his notice. Jack pondered the implications of this, thinking they must all be busy with Garrett Jack pondered, no one to look out for her except him and pulled up a chair and gently took her hand.
Jack felt guilty he'd been selfish he should have suspected she might be a target and not met her in such an exposed place without precautions and backup but dammit she just had such a bright glow, he hadn't met someone with her purity of energy for a long time and he just had to get to know her.
Jack knew he wouldn't get moved from her side until she awoke. He would watch out for her until she recovered. He had tried to message Martha but she was busy with other patients and for now he was hidden, the receptionist had agreed not to disclose any information without checking with him first. They weren't likely to attract any other people searching for her, they were likely safe for now. Jack wished he could move her to a safe location, he debated phoning The Doctor, the TARDIS would be a safer location but he would wait until she awoke and was safe to move.
He sat lent forwards kissing her forehead as lightly as a feather brushing the skin, and then sat there gently stroking her hand and waiting.
