Honestly, Spike hadn't been too shocked when Buffy kept her distance from him. Given how he had gone out back home he could understand. He had made the ultimate sacrifice. Not just for the world but for her. And that girl Cassie had been right. Buffy had admitted to loving him. What kind of love he wasn't sure. And they hadn't really had time to figure it out either. But part of him was hopeful they could figure it out here.
One nice thing about being a vampire was not being affected by the temperatures. So he came waltzing over to Buffy in his usual attire of black jeans and shirt with his long black coat. He grinned a bit when he saw how bundled up Buffy was but had a feeling that wouldn't affect how lethal she could be to the monsters of the world.
