He was saying this to hurt her. Or maybe he believed it. Maybe he just saw her as a whore now, and nothing else. His whore. Now that she wasn't Azazel's or Lilith's or Tammi's. Is that what he wanted her to be?. "Maybe he did. But if he hadn't have sent me I'd never have met you, I mean he sent his daughter first didn't he. Why was I different, better actress or was it something more. I had to have something that Meg didn't, right?". Ruby wasn't weak like he said either. She just wasn't. She'd have hapilly walked him right to Lilith if she hadn't fallen in love with him, If she'd had Jake or Ava here she'd walk them right to Lilith too because then she could keep her promise to Azazel and keep Sam loving her, couldn't she?. And love wasn't weakness.
Still. "I'll have a Bloody Mary" she said to the bartender on a whim. Less amusing but if he was being 'fitting' so could she, and he'd insulted Azazel. Again. There wasn't anything on the menu called crispy fried girlfriend so this would have to do. She regretted it though almost as she said it. Though it was a fairly innocuous order. She even glanced to the nearby mirror as she did. Maybe she'd meant that.
He had a right to insult Azazel much as she hated it.
She wondered too why he'd pulled his arm away before she'd spoken, and if really she was just making it worse. She shouldn't push him but he had been cruel. That wasn't the attention she wanted either. The cold cruelty. She hated it. She just wanted him to have the fun he wanted and flaunt her around like a whore if it kept him from hurting anyone. She could take the cruelty even if she did hate it. She couldn't take the guilt if he hurt someone and she could have stopped him. He'd hate himself.
"We can drink them quickly and dance again, how about it"
