"Azazel picked you because you're a whore." Sam looked over at her sharply, almost daring her to deny it. "You know how to seduce and get under the skin of men everywhere." He rolled his eyes, taking the menu from her and looking down the list with a frown. "It doesn't take a genius to figure out why you were chosen. Of course, I do think that if he wanted to actually accomplish what he started? He should have picked someone that was less...you." Sam put the menu down, leaning to the side so that he was able to meet Ruby's eyes with his own. "You failed. From the looks of it, it's because you're weaker than he gave you credit for. He really should have sent someone else - someone who actually had what it took to finish what they started."
Sam set the menu down and hailed the bartender over. "I'll take a Red Devil. Fitting drink for a guy like me." Sam looked over to Ruby, pulling his arm away from her shoulder. "What about you?" It was kind of an amusing thing to order. Ruby was in a red dress and she sure as hell wasn't an angel. Sam grinned, leaning forward against the bar.
She was telling him to let go. The thing was, he was already doing so. Sam had a lot of plans. For the both of them. He had considered many different paths for Ruby in particular. Truthfully, he thought she should have been grateful. He had considered killing her. In fact, Sam still sort of was.
