Elena smiled at the mention of the complications of the Petrova bloodline. "Yeah, that's probably a story best saved," she agreed. It was usually best explained over a large glass of something alcoholic , she found. She wished someone had given her a large glass of vodka before telling her. "But you should be safe. As far as I know, it's limited to our world."
"It's fine," Elena said with a smile, hoisting the bag higher on her shoulder. She would feel guilty if she made Alicia carry the heavy bag. She didn't know if the other girl knew what Elena and Katherine were yet but, even if she didn't, it wasn't fair. "You lead the way, I'll follow you," she suggested.
"It varies. You can be pulled from literally anywhere," Elena explained, trying to hold back a giggle. She knew it probably hadn't been funny for Alicia to land in a graveyard on top of a random guy but the image it conjured in Elena's head was one she found it difficult not to laugh at. "Who was he?" Elena asked, wondering if Alicia even knew. If it was her, she wasn't sure she'd hang around to ask names.
