"Wow, I must have been pissed off. Those two are more useful alive than dead." Garrett said, the wheels of his mind going into action. The boy had developed too many weaknesses without him there to correct them.
But, he could work at fixing that. He had time. He'd leave him the girl. But, the scientists, those other girls who'd gotten close to him. They needed dealing with.
John stood then, throwing the paper into the bin. He knew his behavior would probably put the kid on edge, but that was where he wanted him. He wanted him wondering when the other shoe would drop.
