She would learn who she was with time. Caroline had slowly been realizing that time was probably the only thing that would help with that. There was little point in modeling herself like or even purposefully not like other vampires. They might all have the same urges but life experience and their own beliefs seemed to adjust who they would become. Besides, she was really looking forward to the continued discovery of who she was as a vampire.
Even if parts of it still frightened her or overwhelmed her at times. Especially with her wish to be an Original.
Caroline studied the woman for a long moment, trying to figure out what made her the perfect candidate. It wasn’t like at the other club where they had moved through the chaos of dancing people, picking off random people in the crowd. This was entirely different territory and she was definitely out of her element.
“I’m not really sure. Like she’s alone which could be a good thing, I guess. But I’m not really sure why we’d pick her instead of like maybe the other one three tables over who’s also alone.” Caroline leaned against the table, arching a brow at Klaus. “So teach me your ways, oh wise one.”
