"So.. four months, then," Damien said with a nod. "That's actually close to the length of time I was away back in my world." That wasn't so bad. He just hoped the company he was starting in this world was still intact. He'd thought it should be. It thankfully hadn't opened yet, he'd merely been taking steps to set it all up before he got sent back. And the angels hadn't yet done anything yet, he breathed a sigh of relief at that news. "So this is pretty close to how I remember it, that's good to know. Guess that means it's not too late for me to lend a hand if or when the fighting starts up." He was starting to feel more relaxed now that they were away from the graveyard. More at ease with the situation. Yes, he was starting to feel a lot better now.
He paused at the news of his manor. He'd suspected as much, but that didn't lessen the feeling he had on it. "That is.. well, I'd suspected. It was nice. What about the girls living there? Parker, Sidney. Edward. I hope they weren't left homeless when the building vanished with me. And everything else in it must be lost too. Pictures, certificates, and.. my room set aside for.. her. If she came back. Even if she never does return, at least it would be there just in case." He was of course speaking of Prue, who he had been greatly involved with only to have her taken away. There were times when he wondered if he'd meet anyone like her again. But that was a concern for another time. Needed to get settled first. Another problem quickly dawned on him then. "Ohh. Know what this also means? I have no residence. No house of my own. I'll need to find a place to live. I'm open to suggestions if you'd have any." A hotel room for the night might be an idea for him, but Damien would prefer an apartment. Those at least had the protections against evil around them. And being fully safe was a major priority now. Safety first, then settling personal and business matters.
