Damien was surprised to see someone approaching, though the barking set him almost on edge. Probably the pet was reacting to him based on his parentage. But he was relieved when he saw who it was with. It had been a few months but he recognized the captain right away, one of his friends, as well as slight benefactor as well. This was good. This was familiar, he liked familiar. "Hey, nice to see the Seal managed to keep you here," he said with a smile as he opened the gate up. "How much time has passed? Can you tell me the date, what year? No doubt I'd have a lot to catch up on. I do hope Raphael hasn't started anything yet. I recall that was a big issue being discussed last time I was here. We stop the Apocalypse and put Lucy back; yet there's another fight brewing. Always something around here, isn't it? But then that's how it usually goes. If not a war here, then somewhere else. Hopefully there aren't any zombie infestations going on."
He looked back at the graveyard and resisted a shudder at the memories he felt from it. Then he turned back at Kirk. "If it's all the same to you though, I'd really, really like to get away from this place. Far away. I don't mind a cemetery, just.. this one, you know. Not exactly good memories, considering what happened last time I stood here." He also highly suspected his mansion wasn't present in Kansas anymore, which was unfortunate. That meant he would probably have to seek housing elsewhere, probably a place he hadn't been to yet. But he'd deal. He was good at adapting. And he was sure Kirk would have some helpful ideas on that too.
