Star had been making regular patrols of the top two floors, as far as she could tell, none of the Terminators had made it that far yet, and she wasn't sure why, but she was counting her blessings where she could.
The sound of breaking glass, however, and the wholly unmistakable sound of a body hitting the floor, set her off, however, stopping short and knocking at the door. She didn't know who was behind it, something she was silently cursing herself for now. When she didn't receive an answer she shook her head, rearing back and kicking the door open, it took two shots, but she got it, realizing only belatedly that she didn't have a weapon and if there was a Terminator on the other side, she was already dead.
Luckily there wasn't, just a girl, she was pretty sure she'd seen the blonde around before, which meant she was probably okay so far as loyalties went. She winced at the glass, shaking her head and padding over, crouching to check Kara's pulse.
