Robin bit back his worry at that. He couldn't recall the last time his friend hadn't been hungry. Even just after he'd eaten he would happily claim he was still hungry. It left Robin more than a little apprehensive and wanting to know just where and when his friend had come from.
He led him through the chairs and tables, sparing a few brief words for people who said hello, before preceding him upstairs, knowing he would follow. His office would afford them a bit of privacy, and something told him Much could do with the quiet right now. He was resisting the urge to badger him with questions. He had missed his friend so much, he could hardly believe he was so lucky as to have him back again.
"Why don't you sit down." He gestured to the couch against the wall, moving to the small fridge behind the second desk and taking out a lemonade. Sitting beside him, he passed the drink over. "How long?" He asked without preamble. "How long was it for you?"
