Damon licked the blood from his lips as the girl ran. His appetite was statiated, and the urge to chase wasn't as strong as it had been.
Of course, when the older vampire grabbed his arm and turned him to face her, he snarled annoyed and startled. But, when he realised who it was, his fangs slipped away, and he smirked under her tirade. The girl was still breathing, and he could have handled the hunters.
"Didn't you learn last time, Lexi? I am not my brother. I'm nothing like him." He stepped into her personal space, peering down into her face. "I don't want or need you. So, leave me alone."
Then, when she hit him over the head, in one swift movement he pinned her up against the wall by her throat, taking her by surprise. A growl reverberating in his throat, before a split second later he let her go, stepping back.
