the witches he knew that had turned to Expression ever looked back. Why would they? Anything they wanted to do, they could, all that power at their fingertips. It was enticing. But Bonnie was out of sorts, barreling down a path of inevitable self-destruction if something wasn't worked out. Things had happened, screwed with her head, with her emotions, and Expression was a magic that was tied so closely to emotions that the only possible outcome to all that instability was an effect on her magic. And it had, in rather epically terrible ways. She'd even started fires in her sleep. She was cornered, stuck, and she had to seek help from any possible avenue. And right now that avenue had led her to him. It wasn't ideal for either of them, but it was needed. Truth was, Kol was only helping her for Caroline's sake at this point. He didn't like Bonnie he had nothing to gain from this, but...if she didn't get help, she could hurt people, she could hurt Caroline, and that wasn't good for either of them. (...)
