He hesitated a moment. He could sit on the couch but he wasn't sure he'd want her to. So after a minute of thinking about it he sat down in one of the other chairs and looked at her. When she was done speaking he nodded. "A board game sounds good."

He leaned forward, putting his elbows on his thighs. As soon as he spoke he wondered if it was a good idea. They needed to talk, if not about what happened to her than at least about them. But for now he supposed he'd wait and see if she wanted to talk or if she was willing to talk, and he'd wait until she broached it herself.
