She pulled down plates for them to eat off of, not noticing anything that might be going on with him for the moment. She was debating in her head whether she wanted to tell him what had happened at the university. For now she could concentrate on getting the food ready for them. "Well, it's nice to have food I don't need to prepare tonight," she said finally. "And if I don't eat all of it tonight I can have leftovers of that tomorrow."
When she had the plates down and the utensils out she looked at him, biting her lip slightly. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to tell him what happened. And so she took a deep breath. "Do you remember when I talked about the man who had asked me out on a date? Jason?"
