Who: Molly (complete as a narrative but open if anyone wants to join her)
What: Molly's homesick
Where: The owlery at Hogwarts
When: After classes are over on Friday
Rating: Low
Every day Molly went up to the owlery, checking to see if any of the messages she had sent out to others had gotten a response. After a few days she had expected to not hear anything, but still, she hoped. She was curious to know where everyone else was, and the longer she went without replies the more she doubted anyone other than those she knew were here had come to Hogwarts or any of the surrounding area where an owl could go. She was wondering whether they were all safe in Lawrence or scattered to other places. And really, she missed her friends.
As much fun as she was having, as great as it was to be at Hogwarts, she had to admit she was a bit homesick. She was enjoying getting to know people from Lawrence she had never really talked to before, but she missed Mary and Olivia and Harry and Khan. And she was especially worried about the four of them. She'd gotten lucky in coming to Hogwarts; what if the Seal had done something worse to them? She didn't like not knowing, and no amount of distraction with classes and sneaking off to Hogsmeade and all the other things she had done here could distract her from those thoughts when she was alone.
With a sigh she attached the note to one of the owls meant for general use and then off it went, delivering yet another message that she probably wouldn't get a reply to. She made her way to the door of the owlery, looking at the school below. She was in bloody Hogwarts, she chided herself. Really, she should be enjoying every last minute of it, of getting the chance to be a cool eleven-year-old, of getting to go off and do the things she'd only dreamed of being able to do as she read the books. After a moment, she made a decision. She would enjoy herself every moment she could, shelve the worries until the Seal decided to send her back home. And with that decision in mind she began to make her way back to the door, determined to do exactly what she should have been doing every moment since she got there.
