Tony 'd been having trouble sleeping. Sleeping rough on the ground like this reminded him of Afghanistan. But, it had even been harder tonight. All day, he'd been seeing Pepper. She'd said that the girl Belle was important. That she was what Pan wanted, and that he should give her to Pan.
But, he knew Pepper would never say such a thing. So, it had to be Pan's lies, just like Belle had said. So, instead he had sat watch at the edge of the camp. Keeping a watch for Lost Boys, Pan's minions. They'd been the ones to kill Elena, and he didn't want any more of them to die. Not if he could help it. Even if they did come back to life again afterwards.
But, then he heard a scream. And like the hero he was, he moved towards it without a second thought. He recognised that voice. Belle. She was on the otherside of the camp to where he was. But, as he reached the middle of the camp, he saw something fall to the ground. It glinted silver in the moonlight. Seeing it's shape, he bent to pick it up, not knowing if he'd need a weapon. Before he continued on towards Belle.
"Belle?" He called quietly, unsure if the others had been woken by her scream. "Are you alright?"
